“4.2.1 Bình chữa cháy phải được kiểm tra khi lần đầu đưa vào sử dụng và sau đó phải được kiểm tra định kỳ khoảng 30 ngày. Bình chữa cháy phải được kiểm tra với chu kỳ ngắn hơn khi có yêu cầu.”
Điều 8. Ban hành và áp dụng tiêu chuẩn, quy chuẩn kỹ thuật về phòng cháy và chữa cháy
1. Hoạt động phòng cháy và chữa cháy phải tuân thủ quy chuẩn kỹ thuật quốc gia.
2. Cơ quan nhà nước có thẩm quyền ban hành quy chuẩn kỹ thuật sau khi thống nhất với Bộ Công an đối với các quy định về phòng cháy và chữa cháy.
3. Cơ quan, tổ chức có thẩm quyền xây dựng và công bố các tiêu chuẩn quốc gia, tiêu chuẩn cơ sở về phòng cháy và chữa cháy sau khi thống nhất với Bộ Công an.
4. Áp dụng tiêu chuẩn Việt Nam về phòng cháy và chữa cháy:
a) Tiêu chuẩn quốc gia về phòng cháy và chữa cháy được áp dụng bắt buộc;
b) Tiêu chuẩn về phòng cháy và chữa cháy phải phù hợp với quy chuẩn kỹ thuật quốc gia về phòng cháy và chữa cháy;
c) Bảo đảm tính đồng bộ, tính khả thi của hệ thống tiêu chuẩn được áp dụng.
